Does people spend more at the end of the year? I can’t agree more. Darlin had to spend close to 2K within the last one month? First, it was us, falling sick after one another. That means medical fees - $200. Just a week ago, I stepped on my trusty spec and it breaks into two. I could have saved it IF it was Sheryl stepping on it but well, I’m sure you know what is the state of the spec when I stepped on it. Another - $300 from darlin’s pocket.

And last came the big ticket item. My stupid acer laptop died on me. The screen just went white and I couldn’t even save anything out from it. Darlin had to get me a Toshiba laptop and what does it means? Another - $1400 from darlin’s pocket.

That’s why I say, christmas came early, for me, not darlin.

29th December 2007..We are so excited!

Been rather busy with wedding preparation. Wedding sure is a big event. There’s so many things to be done, to coordinate and most importantly, to make sure everyone is happy. Here’s a list that we have to do and this list is definately not exhaustive!Let me see what’s we’ve done thus far.

• Confirm banquet venue
• Banquet menu
• Confirm number of guests
• Guest invitation
• Videographer
• Photographer
• Engagement ring
• Wedding Bands
• MTM Gown and evening gown
• Get wedding shoes
• 1st fitting
• 2nd fitting
• Photoshoot
• Appoint the Justice of Peace
• File for marriage
• Get new furniture

Whew! How exciting! hehe

Been in hiatus for too long.

March is always the month which I lvoe best. Brithdays! Celebrations!

16th March - My birthday. Was at work the whole day but it was nice meeting up with darlin and his buddies for dinner at Marche, Oops, Vilage. Saw Sylvia there as well. Thanks for remembering my birthday gal! Went to Que Pasa for a some red wine. Ambience is fine but didn’t really like the service there though. Won’t think of going back there again. Wanted to cab to Clarke Quay but decided to go KTV at international building . Sang to our heart content, partly cos I was partly drunk. But I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

17th March - Our 7th anniversery since the day we met. Mum’s birthday too! Had a appointment at bridal studio. Spent 3 hours at the studio trying on gowns. Shown the designer some of the designs and she managed to come up with the draft for my both my white and evening gown. Gosh, I am so excited! I really can’t describe the feeling I had inside me when I tried on the gown for the first time. I looked into the mirror, look at the gown, look at the ring on my finger, and I thought to myself, wow I can’t believe I’m really going to get married. The feeling is so surreal.  The first fitting will be in July..I can’t wait.

18th March - Spend the whole day at home. Sick I hate backache. I’m really lucky that Mrs Da Yi Ma only decided to visit me the day after the visit to the bridal studio.

19th March - MC. Spend the whole day sleeping at home. Argh.

Had another session of BBQ at darlin’s place on the actual count down day. Ok, fine, I know you noticed that I wore the same shirt. It’s actually on TWO DIFFERNT days. I am just stuck in darlin’s place preparing the food and dearest darlin had my short cleaned before I wore the next day. So that IS THE SAME BUT A CLEAN SHIRT that I am wearing on that night.

The guys arrived way earlier and as you can see I was still preparign the food and VERY unglam.

A day of retail therapy beats everything! I’ve finally succumb to the temptation of shopping! hee.. Had bought quite a handful of stuff last even and this afternoon. The loot includes a corduroyjacket, a pair of jeans, make up stuff, a cocktail dress as well as a evening clutch to match my dress.

Darlin had been the kindest to accompany me. I’m always buying the wrong clothings and end up having to sell them off ebay. My darlin here seems to have a penchant for nice clothings. The outfit that he picked for me always looks good and I always seems to love it. Although once a while, I do get on his nerve by my long and endless shopping trip, my darlin is still consider patient enough. Not only does he act as my companion, he is also my consultant and sugar daddy when it comes to clothings. I guess he knows that I won’t be able to concentrate on my assignments with the “unaccomplished task” up my mind. So, this is kind of a reward to perk me up! I’m always shopping at his “expense”! haha… Thanks for the clothings darlin! hehe..
