Tired! September soon and it means due dates for assignments and presentations! Stat’s mid-sem is just over and there’s gonna be another paper on international business next week. PLUS…I forsee a twice a week meeting with different group mates on the upcoming presentations for international national business and Business Policy. And as if it’s not enough, I got to complete 2 online quizzes everyweek.
I used to think that online quiz are simple and easy but NO! Hell no. When you are doing it on the paper, at least you get partial marks when you make careless mistakes but online, the really smart computer(ya, too smart) can only recognise the exact answer that is expected and completely ignore the fact that you had just put in 100% effort on that particular question. It’s time like these that I wished for human interaction!
As you all can see, it’s gonna be busy busy me.
On another note, darlin’s parents, bro and sis in law had to postpone their trip due to some unforseen commitment. Darlin is really disappointed. I will too. Anyway, it might be a good idea to visit us in end November instead. At least by then, we are done with the exams!
Alright, time to sleep. Gosh, I’m getting old. *Yawnz*

I’m trying very very hard to get my lazy bum down to some serious work but I’ve to blame my dear buddy, Lifei! Was surfing her site and was practically hooked on Bae Yong Joon! And I carried on and on and on and on, reading his news and just looking at him (well, his pictures).
Bae is not particularly dashing(like some hollywood stars) nor was it super hunky like Arnold. YET, there is something in him that is able to captivate so many people! His smile..his megawatt smile! Ohhh… ok let’s drool!

I’ve shamelessly ripped these pics from http://www.byjtogether.com and did the collage myself.
Pls visit their website for more pictures!

Mid semester exams are just round the corner. First paper will be on Monday and hopefully I will do well in econometrics…blah..plain Statistics. Was trying to my bum down to serious work but I’m just too tempted by the internet the feeling of exploring (wasting my time) online. Had not done too well on the online quiz, kinda disappointed but I’ll get over it. I always believe that losing a few marks off the exam or quiz is better then getting a big discount from my boss next time, if I should commit any mistakes due to my incompetency in this subject. Couple of essay, report and presentations to be done over the next few weeks and I had not even read the question. I better start cracking.
On a separate note, darlin’s parents and 2nd brother’s and family will be coming over next week. It’s really nice to see relatives from Singapore I guess. It makes me miss my family more.
Nevertheless. I persuaded darlin to change the date of our plane ticket. Hopefully we can secure an earlier flight back.
I miss hugging my mummy!
heee… Hey everyone’s a little girl and boy in their mum’s heart alright?!

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don’t judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren’t necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people’s eyes.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.
Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
The right job for you:
You’re a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you’ll be set for life.
How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don’t succeed. Don’t give up when you haven’t yet even started! Be courageous.
What are you most afraid of:You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.
Who is your true self:
You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

Was out shopping with darlin this afternoon and I was in the queue to pay for my Loreal Happyderm moisturiser and Oil of Olay Intensive Skin Restoration treatment.
Darlin : Girls like to spend money on such stuff and are you sure they really works?
Me : Of cos they will!
Darlin : *gave me the are-you-sure look*
Me : You guys also buy alot of stuff for your car right? Remember the red-coloured fiuld that you bought that time? You said that it will clean the engine of the car. You sure that works?
Darlin : Of cos it does!
Me : See?! It the same thing.
Darlin : Hmm..Fair enough.
Me : *Parted happily with my $36.94*

It’s such things in life that makes me happy. We should always pamper ourselves once in a while!

My darlin is so evil!
I asked for socks to keep my feet warm. He couldn’t find a pair and so just handed me one.
Me : Darlin, plssss help me get my socks from my bedroom.
Darlin : OK. *Darlin shouted from the room*
Darlin : Dear, I can’t find the other sock. I can only find one.
Me : Hmm..then how?
Darlin : Aiya, never mind. You wear one first on one of the feet then when it’s warmed, you take it off and wear it on the other feet.
Me : Huh!
Darlin : HAHAHAHAH! Can right?!
*Darlin gimme the smirk*
Me : !!!!! O.K.! Very clever.

Get what I mean?!!

I’m feeling extremely sinful! Darlin just cooked chicken rice and I had one and a half bowl of chicken rice. Gosh! That must have added up to 400++ calories.
It’s a “bad bad” for my tummy when darlin’s in charge in the kitchen!
Yummy!

HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!
Every year, at this day, I will tend to feel patriotic, more so then usual. Singapore had indeed came a long way since the day she became independent, emerging into one of the finest country in the world. Albeit small and having NO natural resources, we managed to survive for 40 years and still going strong. Most Singaporeans are well-travelled and I should say, pretty well-informed about what’s going on in the world nowdays. All thanks to the advances in technologies in Singapore. And of course, not forgetting, we must thank our MM Lee Kuan Yew. Without him, without Singapore.
In my opinion, many youngsters “like” to think “different” and think that they are acting cool and smart by making crude remark about the Singapore Government. Hey! What’s so bad about Singapore?! With a very stable and non-corrupted government, tho’ not much freedom of speech, I think it’s really worth appreciating! Try finding a country that is so diversified!
Alright, enough said!
I LOVE SINGAPORE!

I tripped over my old computer table for the “dunno how many times” and there was once I cut my toes with the edge of the table. Hence, darlin said it’s time we get a new study desk for me.
This spacious new table is only $39 from Ikea. I love huge working space and it’s design is so simple and nice. I can even use it as a dining table. Heh!
Ikea’s stuff it’s really nice but it’s always good to have a handy man around to help you fix your Ikea stuff! Thanks darlin!
HUGZ!
Was even happier when I managed to sell off my old desk for $25 when I bought it for $30 one year ago!
