It’s getting warmer! Though not as bad as the previous year, it’s certainly taking a toil on me. The day breaks at 4.50am and only sets around 6pm, making the day ultra long and worst, warm! Exam’s in slightly more then a week and I’ve been lazing around too much. Ok, it might be a weak excuse but the dry and warm weather certainly has a part to play in making me sleepy. I just wanna lay down and do nothing. Once I was so lazy to move that I get darlin to pour water into my mouth even though my water bottle is just beside me. Haha…I’m really lazy.
I can’t wait for the exam to come, not cos I like exam (who does??) but just that I know I will be going home soon once the exams are over. I miss my family! I hope I can do reasonbly well this time round. Exams are gonna eng on 17th night and darlin’s family coming voer the next day, which is terrific. We can enjoy ourselves and of course travel back to Singapore on the same flight. At least it won’t be so boring!
Anyway, life’s been pretty boring with nothing much to rant about actually. Everyday, every week is a routine for me. Work, sleep, eat and cook. I’m spending even lesser here than in Singapore. But of course, the freaking expensive food here is enough to kill. 10 bucks for a plate of fried rice, worth it? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I’ve learnt lotsa things here. To be independent, to cook, to do marketing and …well the list goes on. I guess the best part over going overseas to study is that I’m exposed to different culture and learning more about them. I guess it will help in my working life next time since I’m able to deal with people from different background.
Speaking of work, I really hope that I can secure a job that pays well. Haha..That’s needless to say. Everyone will want that. But what I really think is important would be the aspect of job fulfilment. I think it’s important to want to look forward to going to work. Being motivated is definately important, not to forget there is the work enviroment too. I hope there will be an equal mix of both genders and possible not much age gap! Communication breakdown you know!
Nonetheless, I hope all is well for all the folks back in Singapore. I’ll be joining you soon!
Muackz!

Last evening, I was watching ROVE live with darlin when there’s was a street survey done by ROVE (for those not in Aust, Rove is one big funny guy! hehe..). He was asking who is better? Man or Woman? There was this particular interview that got darlin and myself laughing so hard.
Rove : So who do you reckon is better? Man or Woman?
Interviewee (woman) : It’s obviously woman!
Rove : why??!!
Interviewee : Women can multi-task! We can cook, watch the TV, cut the vege, chitchat on the phone and look after the baby at the same time! Man can’t do that!
Rove : Oh you are wrong! We can multi-task too! We can watch TV, drink beer, use the remote control and eat chips at the same time.
Darlin and I looked at each other and couldn’t stop laughing! That’s exactly what happened at home everyday.

Saw this while blog hopping and found this so true! Darlin will agree with me. haha…
Have a read and tell me what you think!
11.05pm, guy and gal were chatting happily, when guy uncontrollably yawns
Bad example (Hey darlin, this sounds farmilar!)
============
gal (sounding out): you feeling sleeping??
guy: yeah, tired from work…
gal (sounds concern): ok, shan’t disturb u, go and sleep lah
guy: ok, you have an early nite too..guy hangs up the phone.
5 min later, phone rings awaken by the phone rings,
guy: hello?
gal: ………….
guy: who’s this?
gal (feeling unjust): you felt very bothered by me is it?
guy (confused): huh? what?
gal: ………….
guy: why? what happened?
gal: you find me very bothersome is it?
guy: bothersome? why you said this??
gal: …………..
guy: what’s the matter? how i would know if you dun say it out?
gal: we are chatting halfway, and you yawn, and went off to sleep…
guy: b…but, you are the one who ask me to go to sleep…
gal: you already said want to sleep already, what else u want me to say?
guy: haiz… if you wanna chat, just say so… what for tell me to go sleep, and feeling unhappy in the end?
gal: since when i’m unhappy?
guy: isn’t this unhappy? ok ok, i won’t sleep the next time, will that do?
gal: what’s the point? i want you to chat with me willingly, and not becauseafraid that i will be unhappy…
in the end, guy spend another 1hr comforting gal, actual sleep time is 11.40pm,plus the earlier argument, he did not have a good sleep. what worse is thegal may argue with the same thing again the next day.
Good example
============
gal (sounding out): you feeling sleepy?
guy (tired vocal, but sound interested) : abit, tired from work. but you have not finished talking, carry on, i will be listening.
gal (felt consoled): orh, but since you are tired, go and sleep then (still sounding out) never fall into the trap and hang up the phone
guy: there’s no afternoon break today, indeed more tiring. how abt i give u a call tomorrow morning. let’s chat awhile more ok? (tells the reason, and offer make up measure)
gal: oh ok. go and sleep now, you must be tired.
gal is willing to let guy go sleep, but guy must do a bit more than this
guy: so what time you are going to sleep?
gal: not sure, probably a bit later.
guy: ok, but not too late, not good for health. i will be heart pain one hor…
gal (feeling loved): ok lah…
guy: i love you the most! (even if eyes are shutting also must remember to say this impt words, else all effort wasted)
gal: i loved you too, have a good rest! (happy till can float liao)
guy: ehmm…gal hang up the phone
in the end, 11.10pm. guy sleep peacefully, and probably a morning call from gal the next day…

Just completed my Statistics Quiz, hopefully it will be all well when I submit them tomorrow. I utterly dislike online quizzes, particularly those marked by the computer. Computer aren’t smart. You get penalised for the slightest insignificant error. E.g, an extra space, not correcting to the proper decimal place etc. It totally does not account for the amount of effort put in. I guess that’s what you get when technology is so advance or should I just say the lecturer is plain lazy. I prefer to agree with the latter.
hee..
Anyway, it’s gonna be a WARM WARM day tomorrow. Darlin and I will be scotting off to the library to escape from the heat. Luckily the school is kind enough to open the library on weekend and also offer free carparks. I really can’t stand the heat in Australia..or maybe I should just narrow it down to Queensland. It’s unbearable! I know some of the other states are still enjoying temperature averaging around 10 deg! That’s unfair! hahaha… I should had done more research before chooseing my uni 2 years back. The climate should had been one of the key factor for consideration. Too late now.
The weather here can be pretty eccentric. It can be really cooling thru winter and spring(albeit a short one) and once it hit October, the sun just wake up for a tan.
I still remember the unbearable heat was one of the main reason I cut my hair hair last year and had regretted since!
It took be almost a year before I can tuck my hair back. Well, I could have argued that it probably saved me some money on haircut but it’s really getting on my nerves when I looked at the mirror. My hair just doesn’t seems to grow, not even an inch. I swear.
I missed my long hair. Darlin missed them too! haahaa.. Well, that’s why people often say, you only learn to treasure something when you no longer own them. Yes, my mane. I missed the most.
Alright, time for a little weather forecast. I’m gonna be baked tomorrow.
Ignore the lowest temperature. It doesn’t happen at time like now. And just look at that “wind” symbol…I think it means heat wave rather then windy!

We were on our way out to get a fan and darlin was driving when I saw the Crescent…
Me : Look darlin! The crescence is hanging so low. It looks like it’s going to drop!
Darlin : *looked up* If the moon drops, I’ll pick it up and gave it to you, my dear. Cos’ The moon represented my heart. (literal “Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin”)
Me : *Melted*
My darlin is becoming sweeter! Muackz darlin!
