Good Morning Mrs Ang, that’s what I said to the mirror this morning. One and a half year of preparation for our wedding and it’s over in one day. Both hubby and I enjoyed ourself tremendously. Everything was great except the usual traffic jam along Orchard road. Everything went on smoothly except for a slight hitch which is minamal
.
All the brothers, sisters and helpers were really really really helpful. I am really very touched by all the kind gestures by them. They go alllllllll the way to help me with the preparation and all I was do was just stand or sit there and smile. I just need to call them and the next minute they would be by my side. I really want to give all of them a hug and a kiss. They made my wedding so lively and memorable. I was literally the queen for that day!
Tucky was highly recommended in alot of forum and I had to booked him nearly 1.5 year before my actual day. Most importantly Tucky was very professional. He arrived on time and was so friendly with all my relatives and myself. He eased me up instantly. He squatted, he tip toed and bothers to capture pictures from all angles even when he’s confined to a small space. When we were looking for a photographer, we told our self, let’s just go for a simple package and we wanted to signed up with his most basic package which cost around 1.5K. After we met him, hubby signed with the premium package which cost us $3K without even negotiating, I was so surprised as hubby is a man had decided about the $1.5K package earlier. We told some of our friends about the package and they commented that their’s was cheaper with other photographers and we starts to get worried. BUT, when we see the end product and know him better, I tell you, it is WORTH EVERY SINGLE CENT. Really. The photos were fantastic. You know for me, I like photos that tells a story. His photos did exactly that. The joy were written on everyone’s face. By looking at the pic, you could just imagine what that person is thinking. Thus I say, go for Tucky’s service, all potential brides to be.
My videographer is Alex from EmotionPix. He is such a nice guy! Soft spoken, patient, polite, friendly and like my photographer, he is very professional. His smiles and assuring words just brighten up my day. You know, we all heard stories of photographer and videographer who can’t work with each other? I was so worried that both of them would have problem working together but NO! Instead, my photographer and videographer helped each other throughout the event. My relatives and parents thought they were from the same company! Hubby and I cried when we watch the video highlights the next day. It was so touching, He managed to captured the morning event successfully. You know when I was sitting inside the room waiting, I could only hear but can’t see what’s happening. Looking at his video clip just filled up all the visuals I need. Some of my friends said that videographer is not important, I begged to differ! I am so glad I chose to have a videographer for that day and of cos, have Alex as my videographer! Like my photographer’s service, I am extremely satisfied with my videographer’s service as well. Brides, he should be the videographer you are looking for!
Next come my guests, almost 80% of them were early! I was so touched. Even the banquet manager from Orchard Hotel commented that I have very nice and understanding guests. By 8pm, almost all the tables have been filled up. Because we had our wedding at the end of the year, I was so worried that most of them are unable to make it cos they will be overseas holidaying? But almost all my tables were filled up! Due to the time constraint, I as unable to mingle with my guests that much but receiving all their well wishes makes me very very happy. It’s like, I never knew there were so many people who cares about our wedding! They were so sporting!
The first march in is magical. When i walked in with all the dry ice effect, and rose petals, I felt like I was dreaming until the party poppers popped and reminds me that YES, it’s REAL!!. As I walk down the red carpet, I know they are the people I know but yet can’t see them clearly, just like a dream. Everyone was cheering and I was really really really happy. You ask me when is the happiest moment in life now. It would definately be the 1st March in.
I have to say it again, it’s MAGICAL.
And to my parents and parents in law, no words could express my graditude and appreciation. I love you.
How can I forget to thank my hubby!
of cos…I would say that to him personally. hehe..
Lastly, that you all of you for making that night a memorable one! It would not have happened without the support of all of you. hugz
